RSVP to attend the workshop as a teacher (no cost)
All current and prospective members of Heart of America Suzuki Association (HASA) are invited to attend the 2025 Annual HASA Suzuki Workshop on Saturday, March 15th. All activities will take place in Grant Hall at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory (address and parking information here).
Orientation will begin at 8am and activities will conclude that day with a final concert featuring the students from 2:15-3:00 in Grant Recital Hall. There are several special events specifically planned for Suzuki teachers, including a lunch with the clinicians at the workshop and a parent-teacher talk by Dr. Laurie Scott titled, "Creating a Self-Sustaining Musical Environment."
There is no cost to observe the workshop and attend lunch, but please RSVP by March 1st at this link, so we can prepare for your attendance.
Schedule:
8:00-8:30am Orientation 9:30-10:10am Parent-Teacher Talk, "Creating a Self-Sustaining Musical Environment" 12:00-1:00pm Teacher Lunch with clinicians (Chipotle) 2:15-3:00pm Final Concert
Between those times, you will be able to build your own observation schedule from the following options:

Advanced Honors Masterclasses (Strings)

Piano and Musicianship Classes with Dr. Jeremy Chesman

Registering as a Teacher or Guest
All current and potential HASA members may observe any part of the Annual Workshop for free, and anyone interested in learning more about the Suzuki method is encouraged to register as an observer. Please register your attendance ahead of time at this link so we are sure to have an accurate count and plan for your attendance. One week before the workshop, you will receive an email with the finalized schedule, so you can build your personal observation schedule. Anyone interested in learning more about the Suzuki method is encouraged to register as an observer!
